Today, we kicked things off with a pep assembly full of spirit and fun! Our Homecoming Court and Crown Bearers showed off next week’s dress-up days with a mini fashion show, and we launched the Super Class Competition with the first challenge: a pizza box balance contest! The Juniors came out on top and earned the very first point of the week! 🔥
We can’t wait to see all the energy, pride, and fun continue throughout Homecoming Week!

Our 3rd graders had an amazing field trip to the Clarke County Fairgrounds for Ag Day, hosted by the Clarke County Farm Bureau! Students rotated through hands-on stations, learning all about agriculture right here in our community. 🚜🌽
A HUGE thank you to all the local businesses who led the learning stations, the Clarke County Cattlemen for grilling up a delicious lunch, and the Osceola FFA members for being incredible group leaders and session helpers. 🙌

This year, Mr. Mike Boldon hit a milestone-- an incredible 54 years with Clarke Community School District!
Even after retiring, Mike hasn’t slowed down—he’s a super-sub who’s always ready to help where needed and is dedicated to our students in and out of the classroom! Whether it’s ringing a cowbell at cross country, helping a student count in the classroom, or using his cane as a drumstick on the basketball bleachers, Mike is there cheering on Clarke students every step of the way! 🌟

In Mrs. Coates’s 4th grade classroom, students are learning all about turtles during Morning Meeting! Today, a guest from Decatur County Conservation visited with a real turtle 🐢 to help teach about turtle eggs, shells, and more. Students even got to create their own turtles to take home! 💚

Students dressed up like the legendary Paul Bunyan, a class favorite! After completing their assessments, they enjoyed a directed drawing of Paul and Babe, made colorful Babe the Blue Ox headbands, and performed reader’s theater versions of the story.
What an amazing way to bring stories to life and celebrate all their hard work!
