Clarke IJAG officers have been busy building big ideas! 💡👏
Jocelyn Carrera-Regalado, Cesar Cisneros-Ambriz, Jaycee Shannon, Gisell Salinas, Gio Torres, Allyzon Galindo, and Charli Bassett attended the DesignDash Entrepreneurship Workshop at DMACC, hosted by the University of Iowa’s Jacobsen Institute.
They collaborated with students from other schools to identify real-world problems, develop creative solutions, and design prototypes to present to their peers. What an awesome experience in teamwork, innovation, and leadership!

In Mrs. Wright’s 8th grade Science class, students have been learning how forces can act at a distance. Yesterday, they explored how electric currents can flow in one direction—and then switch directions—to make LED lights change colors. A bright example of science in action!

Congratulations to Emma Arnold, clarinet; Jaycee Shannon, clarinet; and Easton Brokaw, tuba for their acceptance into and participation in the Drake University Honor Band on Friday, December 5 and Saturday, December 6. Although the event was shortened due to weather, these three students represented Clarke well with students from across the state to perform a concert for friends and family Saturday at 1:00 PM
