Students in Ms. Cullen's STEM class took on an exciting engineering challenge! They designed and built structures with two goals: hold the most weight and reach the tallest height.
Creativity was off the charts as students tested their designs, learned from each experiment, and celebrated their successes. Amazing problem-solving and teamwork on display!

- Tonight’s JV/V basketball home games against Mt. Ayr have been postponed.
- All after-school practices/activities will be done by 5:00 PM.
- No Mat Club tonight
- Girls wrestling will still travel, as roads are clearer at their destination.

🎃✨ Pumpkin Power in 3A! ✨🎃
Today, Jennifer Miller from the Farm Bureau visited 3A and brought pumpkins to life in the BEST way! Students learned all about pumpkins—including which state grows the most—and even got a hands-on look at what it’s like to be an engineer.
They designed and built mini pumpkin catapults, tested their creations, and had an absolute blast launching their tiny pumpkins across the room! 🚀🎃

This year, the cast and crew of Elf chose a toy drive as their community service project! As guests came to enjoy the show last weekend, they were encouraged to bring a toy to help brighten a child’s holiday.
🎁 Yesterday, several cast and crew members wrapped up the shopping using the donated funds—and were able to deliver 144 items!
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who donated, supported, and helped make this project such a success. Your generosity helps bring magic to our community this season.

Last night, our Clarke volleyball players were recognized for their incredible talent and hard work both on and off the court!

Students in Mr. Pate’s dual credit Western Civilization I and dual credit U.S. History to 1877 took their learning beyond the classroom with an amazing visit to the Iowa State Historical Museum!
During their trip, students explored Civil War documents connected to Iowa’s role in the war with connections to soldiers from Clarke County.
Seeing these primary sources up close made history feel real and meaningful for our learners. What an incredible opportunity for our students to deepen their understanding of the past and connect it to their coursework. Great job, Mr. Pate and students!
