Thank you to the students, families, community partners, and volunteers who visited the Back to School Wellness Fair last night! Over 225 bags of school supplies were given, approximately 80 haircuts were received, 300 hot dogs were eaten, over 30 screenings and immunizations were completed and there were countless interactions with our incredible community partners. For the first (and second!) time at a Back to School Wellness Fair there were two thoughtful students who donated their hair to Wigs for Kids of Michigan. Thank you, Talia and Katana! Students who visited at least 8 community partners were eligible to be entered into a drawing for a Staycation from Lakeside Casino and Resort. The winner is Savannah Leonard (9th grade)! Congratulations, Savannah! Más de 225 mochilas con útiles escolares fueron repartidas, aproximadamente se dieron 80 cortes de pelo, se comieron 300 perros calientes, más de 30 chequeos y vacunas fueron realizados y hubo innumerables interacciones con nuestros increíbles compañeros de la comunidad. Por la primera (y segunda!) vez en la Feria de Bienestar de Regreso a Clases, hubo dos estudiantes que donaron su cabello a Wigs for Kids of Michigan! Gracias, Talia y Katana! Los estudiantes que visitaron por lo menos 8 compañeros de la comunidad fueron elegibles para entrar en la rifa de una vacaestadía de parte del Casino Lakeside y Resort. El/La ganador(a) es Savannah Leonard! ¡Felicidades Savannah!
