Last week, Clarke Middle School students who had fewer than 5 tardies in the first 4 weeks of school got to celebrate with a NO TARDY PARTY! This time, the reward was an awesome game of dodgeball 🏐💥

All Clarke 6-8 grade students are invited to our first dance of the year! This year's Halloween dance will happen on Friday, October 24th from 5-7 pm in the middle school gym. School appropriate costumes are welcome. Admission is $3. Pop will be on sale for $2. After the dance is over at 7, head down to the football field and cheer on the varsity football team!

✨ Exciting things are happening in Mr. Kedley’s U.S. History class! Students are wrapping up their Exploration Unit with the Build a Boat Project! 🌎
Each group of students selected an explorer, designed and built a model of their boat, and wrote a story about the explorer’s adventures — using both primary and secondary sources to guide their research. 📜💡
Creativity is sailing high as students put the finishing touches on their projects and get ready to present them next week! We can’t wait to see their incredible work!

🔨🍬 Clarke MS Woods students are hard at work! Yesterday, Nyle, Braxton, Ryder, and Adam were busy building their very own candy dispenser. Creativity + craftsmanship = sweet success!
🔥⚙️ Today was an exciting morning in Industrial Tech! Dr. Kelly teamed up with Mr. Spalding, and students, Konlin & Michael, proudly showed off their welding skills. They loved having their principal jump in and learn right alongside them!

Time for the annual Middle School Tailgate!
All Clarke 6-8 grade students are welcome to join us outside the middle school entrance on Friday, September 12th from 4:30-6:00. Student council will be serving free pop, chips, and cookies. After the tailgate, students can walk down to the football field to cheer on our varsity football team as they face I-35. Hope to see all of you there!

Mrs. Cullen's 7th grade science classes had their first lab of the year! Students investigated how 4 different bath bombs react with water to kick off their unit! They practiced lab safety and worked together as a group!
