The 5th and 6th grade spring band concert is Thursday, April 25th. Band students need to be in the 6th grade middle school band room at the high school by 6:30 for warm-up. The concert will start at 7:00pm. This is a required performance for all 5th and 6th grade band students. The doors will open by 6:00pm. 🚴‍♂️🎉 What a fantastic day at the bike rodeo yesterday! The sun came out, and we had a blast! A big thank you to the DEKKO Foundation, Clarke County Hospital, and the Iowa Association of Justice for donating helmets. Over 30 students received new bike helmets, and we were thrilled to give away 4 new bicycles and 1 scooter! Congratulations to the winners Skylar, Axel, Mia, Aubri and Bella! Special thanks to CCOPS, the Iowa Bike Coalition, Osceola Fire Department, Osceola Police Department, Crisis Intervention and Advocacy, and Clarke County Hospital for helping make this event such a success! Your support is truly appreciated! 🚴‍♂️🎉 ¡Qué día tan fantástico ayer en el rodeo de bicicletas! ¡Salió el sol y la pasamos genial! 🔤🎨 Exploring the letter Y in Mrs. Walker's class! 📚🔍 Yesterday, our young learners embarked on a fun journey into the world of the letter Y. They listened to an exciting story filled with plenty of Y words, then got creative by writing down words starting with Y. To top it off, they colored the letter Y using images of things that begin with Y. The classroom was buzzing with images of yards, yogurts, yarn, yo-yos, and yaks! 🌳🥄🧶 What a fantastic way to learn! 🔤🎨 ¡Explorando la letra Y en la clase de la Sra. Walker! 📚🔍 Ayer, nuestros jóvenes estudiantes se embarcaron en un divertido viaje al mundo de la letra Y. On Monday, our Clarke Elementary students in grades 3-5 had an amazing ISASP parade to celebrate their hard work and dedication as they gear up for their upcoming tests! 📚👏 The younger students cheered on their older peers, showing their support and encouragement. But the excitement doesn't stop there! The younger students are also busy making signs each day to lift the spirits of our testing students. 🎨📣 ¡Ayer, nuestros estudiantes de la Escuela Primaria de Clarke en los grados 3-5 tuvieron un increíble desfile de ISASP para celebrar su arduo trabajo y dedicación mientras se preparan para sus próximos exámenes! 📚👏 Los estudiantes más jóvenes animaron a sus compañeros mayores, mostrándoles su apoyo y aliento. ¡Pero la emoción no termina ahí! Clarke Preschool students are studying roads. Yesterday, Jake Lampe from the Department of Transportation spoke to classes about road signs and showed off the snow plow! The 5th and 6th grade winter band concert is on December 7th in the high school auditorium. The band students need to arrive at 6:30 for warm-up. They will meet in the sixth-grade band room.
