Our 2nd grade students in Ms. Schmidt-Rundell’s class turned into engineers during their Properties of Materials unit! They explored ingredients and substances, learned about the design cycle, and put their creativity to the test by designing and experimenting with their very own glues.
From planning to testing (and a little mess along the way 😉), it was hands-on learning at its best!

Our Kindergarten & First Grade Concert will now take place on Tuesday, April 14!

Brownie belongs to 3rd grader Hope, and she came to share her with her fellow 3rd graders! Students learned how to make Brownie's bottle 🍼 and how often she eats each day.

Big readers and little readers came together! Mrs. Coates’ 4th grade WIN reading class enjoyed sharing great books with Ms. Hueser’s 1st grade class.

Why are some organisms less likely to survive in certain environments? 🤔
Using research cards, students are exploring evidence, asking great questions, and building their understanding of how environments impact living things. Curiosity is high and the learning is just getting started! 🔍

When students read it and do it, the learning really sticks! 💡✨

Before testing, students recorded their predictions, then compared results to see which mixture was the stickiest of them all! Next up: comparing their results with other groups to see how changing the number of spoonfuls makes a difference.
So much learning, curiosity, and fun—this is what science is all about! 🔬💡
