3rd grade has wrapped up their unit on space and launched right into a new adventure... organisms! Students in Mrs. Gray’s 3B class will work towards answering the unitphenomenon question:
Why are some organisms less likely to survive in certain environments? 🤔
Using research cards, students are exploring evidence, asking great questions, and building their understanding of how environments impact living things. Curiosity is high and the learning is just getting started! 🔍

Students in Mrs. Pankey’s class are diving into Amplify Science by reading science books to build and strengthen unit vocabulary. Literacy and science truly go hand in hand—students are sharpening their reading, comprehension, and vocabulary skills, then bringing it all to life with hands-on experiments!
When students read it and do it, the learning really sticks! 💡✨

Students in Mrs. Carrall’s 2nd grade classes are getting hands-on with Amplify Science by making their very own glue! They’re carefully measuring different numbers of “spoonfuls,” mixing ingredients, and putting their creations to the sticky test 🥄
Before testing, students recorded their predictions, then compared results to see which mixture was the stickiest of them all! Next up: comparing their results with other groups to see how changing the number of spoonfuls makes a difference.
So much learning, curiosity, and fun—this is what science is all about! 🔬💡
