The Clarke XC student-athletes ran well in their first meet of the season! For our five freshmen, this was their first 5K, and they handled the transition great. Our top scorers for today were Isabell Hay placing 13th and freshman Joseph DeVore finishing 20th.
All of our student-athletes finished the race strong, and several returning runners set new PRs compared to last year’s race. Jester Park is a tough course, both mentally and physically, but our athletes battled through it!
We’re excited to head to Wayne on Thursday and, of course, we celebrated with Cane’s!

A huge THANK YOU to our local heroes—military personnel, law enforcement, firefighters, and EMTs—who came out to support our Clarke Indians as they took on Colfax-Mingo. The evening kicked off with a skydiver bringing in the game ball, followed by a special recognition of our local heroes!
