Clarke Speech participated in National Qualifying for the National Speech & Debate Association.
Clarke participates in Eastern Iowa District.
Those that participated on Saturday the 12th were: Ely Crawford, Lexi Cooper, Cal Lundquist, Molly Sickels, Jonathan Vega, Bryce Johnson & Keira McLain.
Clarke will be represented at Nationals in June in Louisville, Kentucky by:
Lexi Cooper & Ely Crawford in Duo Interpretation (Each have qualified the 2 previous years)
Cal Lundquist – Humorous Interpretation (2nd year in a row)
Molly Sickels – Dramatic Interpretation (first time qualifier)
Jonathan Vega – United States Extemporaneous Speaking (first time qualifier)
