Dear Parent/Guardian:

This spring, Iowa students in grades 6-11 will take the statewide assessment called the Iowa
Statewide Assessment of Student Progress (ISASP). Students in grades 3-12 will take the
Conditions for Learning Survey during this window as well.
When will the ISASP be administered in Clarke?
The ISASP will be administered April 3rd-14th across the district. Testing will occur during
the first week of the window and makeups will occur during the second week.
Middle School/High School Schedule:
Grades 9th-11th (12th grade will not be testing for ISASP, however, they will need to be here
on Monday and report to their advisory for the Conditions for Learning Survey)

Monday April 3rd:
● 8:00-10:00 Science Test (8th and 10th graders)
● 8:00-10:00 Conditions for Learning-all students (grades 6-12)


Tuesday, April 4th:
● 8:00-10:00 Reading Test (6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th & 11th graders)
● 12th grade no entrance until 10:00 am


Wednesday, April 5th:
● 8:00-10:00 Math Test (6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th & 11th graders)
● 12th grade no entrance until 10:00 am


Thursday, April 6th:
● 8:00 -10:00 ELA/Writing (6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th & 11th graders)
● 12th grade no entrance until 10:00 am


Friday, April 7th
● No School


In what grades/content areas are we administering the Iowa Statewide Assessment of
Student Progress (ISASP)?
● Conditions for Learning grades 3-12
● Reading - grades 3-11
● Language & Writing - grades 3-11
● Math - grades 3-11
● Science - grades 5, 8, 10


How will I know how my student performed on the ISASP?
Information regarding your student's test scores will be communicated at a later date. Typically
scores are not available until late spring or early fall.
