Students K-5 have been exploring the Farm to Fork process in a variety of lessons. Students worked in teams to complete an activity called "Farm Web". Students were tasked with connecting the product pictures to its source and then connecting the crop or livestock back to the farm.  

After connecting our food back to a farm, students 3rd-5th are now focused on crop farms. Students completed a Plants Purpose activity and were challenged to connect product cards to four different categories. The categories were: What comes from corn? What comes from soybeans? What comes from other plants? What does not come from a plant? 

The lower grades, spent their Ag class learning all about different types of farms and what those farms harvest, raise, or produce. Kindergarten enjoyed their shortened Friday class exploring sensory bins, that they connected back to agriculture.
